High-Resolution 384×288 Thermal Imaging That Punches Way Above Its Price Class

I'll start by saying that I've not used a professional grade version of one of these before. I have no reference point. However, I do have a couple of friends that have used them and indicated that this seemed to live up to what they had seen in much more expensive units.

I was like a kid in a candy shop finding all the cold spots in our house and making notes of where to check insulation, which doors needed weather strips replaced, which recepticles on outside walls needed a seal added. Also tried it with some circuit boards (My computer and a raspberry pi) and I was able to see which traces had even the slightest difference in temperature.

Speaking of that. I pointed it at my load center (breaker box) and it showed the slightest difference in temperature. I quickly identified that my washer was running (it was) and the server closet from the subtle differences in heat even though I could not tell a difference with my bare hand.

Great output and features

This thermal imaging camera works well and is easy to use. Camera provides exceptional resolution for its price point. Rugged construction, and comes with a nice case. I don’t have any other camera to compare it, but it does seem to be pretty accurate.
